I preferred getting Orange, but perhaps mathematically they’re roughly the same. I bet Illinois and New York were landed upon the same amount probabilistically.
True, but New York gets the benefit of Chance being exactly three spaces away, but Illinois does have the benefit of its associated Chance card working no matter which Chance you land on, so it edges out New York, I’m sure.
Which claims that orange has a slightly higher board probability. While Illinois is more likely to be landed on than New York, all three orange are each more likely to be landed upon than the other two red.
Which is what I intuitively realized as a young Monopoly player. I win! B-)

Now I want to play Monopoly. :(
Illinois is one of the most landed-on spots, mostly due to one of the cards saying “Go to Illinois!” that helps.

“Damn green McMansions.”
This was the point where you won me over.
I have a feeling we know a certain someone who would especially appreciate this strip. ;)
Too bad Monopoly doesn’t have victory points.
