Daniel relishes nothing more than combining controversy with a cute, activity-appropriate shirt. (As long as no one brings it up.)
Of this, I am proud. I can tell it’s one of those things I’ll look back on and say, “If only I knew then what I know now,” but for now, I am proud. Also, you might think I’m exaggerating by painting the lamp that lurid red color, but I assure you that is not the case.
Trying out a slightly different style. I really admire the beauty of line weight that folks like Scott Kurtz and Spike bend to their will, so I’m taking a crack in that direction. Hope you like it!
For the non-video gamers out there: this is a big deal.
You may notice Daniel’s got some snazzy décor in his apartment. On the right, we have a poster from the seminal computer overlord sci-fi movie Tron, which I viewed for the first time just recently. (would view again; in fact, I plan on it!) On the left we have a poster of Angel Eye from Evan Dahm’s Rice Boy. I enjoyed watching Evan’s Ustream so much on Saturday that I decided to throw that up there. I hope it does him justice.
Yes…Navy Pier, while garnering a reputation for being a tourist magnet/local repellent, is the best vantage point for seeing the Harbor Light in action.
I tend to avoid it because it gets my dander up (and nobody wants that), but Passive Aggressive Notes is as advertised: a website that highlights the great communication breakdowns between us all. Thank goodness I’ve never had anything show up on there. …On second thought, maybe I should check it more often.
