This Rube Goldberg music-making marble machine is the brainchild of Wintergatan, a four-piece “folktronica” band from Sweden. It took 14 months for member Martin Molin to build after he was inspired by a Dutch mechanical instrument museum and YouTube woodworking videos. I didn’t quite believe it was real until I went to their website and saw how much Martin poured into this beast. I highly encourage you to check out this interview about his building process.
