And with those words of warning still ringing in our hero’s ears, we say goodbye to chapter 7! Was it good for you, too?
I’ll be taking next week off as I prepare for chapter 8. If I’m not thumb-deep in video games furiously planning and scripting, I’ll probably do a sketch or two and paste it up on the site. As always, thanks for reading. :)
Well, that could have gone better.
By the way, I’ve crunched the numbers, and this is my 200th strip! I wanted to finish out the chapter this week, so you’re getting three updates this week. That’s two things to celebrate! Go nuts! :D

Stephanie has in her hand, of course, a copy of the newspaper clipping found in Nate’s papers. In her other hand is a ceremonial dagger called an athame (pronounced ath-aye-me, I’m told). And to think, all I knew of athames before this arc was from NetHack.
Désespoir, you bitch.
Edison talked about making a phone that could communicate to the spirit world, but for all intents and purposes, the idea seems to be vaporware. I’d like to think that the graphic from Edison Hate Future is a representation of what the ghost phone might have looked like. Even if it isn’t, there’s good, clean fun to be had in seeing Edison call people “fuckers.”
Celeste just likes saying “kill.”
Can I just say how much I loved drawing a ghost phone operator? Yeah.
