By the by, you may notice the Wachter clan passing a movie theater in panel one. I got to thinking, the funeral is in an unspecified Chicago suburb, Multiplex 10 is in an unspecified Chicago suburb…so, wave hi to the Multiplex gang!

Warning! Grammar/Spelling Pedantry ahead! It’d be “Davy Jones’s” – the apostrophe-only wouldn’t happen on Jones as Jones didn’t get its “s” from pluralization. Tadaaaa.
In all seriousness, I hate that THAT’s the first comment I’ve left. Enjoying the strip so far, can’t wait til it gets underway with the ghost(s?) and such!
Cheers
Dave
dammit Dave, I see the apostrophe lobby’s gotten to you too. you’re lucky it fit within my balloon. :P glad you’re enjoying the strip!
Heh, like the punchline. Also I like the progression on Maureen’s reaction, that’s a nice subtle detail.
Also I think I remember you talking about the slow buildup somewhere…I think it’s going fine. Myself, I generally assume I’m drawing for my archive anyway, since odds are, more people will read the comic via the archive than per update.
thanks! actually changed the punchline at the last second…decided the Simpsons have been ripped off enough.
I haven’t thought about writing to my archive, really. in my mind, it just seems to be how the story’s progressing. I’ll keep that in mind though, and try not to get my knickers in a twist :)
