I’m at it again. Since I’m trying to get strips done in time for PAX, the most time effective method is appreciated. With this, I looked at my blank sketchbook and said to myself, “I bet I can get this done faster if I did it all in Photoshop.” Whether or not that’s true is up for debate, but I had more fun inking than I have in a long time. This might be a trend, it might not.

Oddly enough, I can’t express in words how fun it has been to pen Brain’s loquacious dialogue. And with his saving moves in today’s strip, it’s not unreasonable to imagine him as a kind of secret superhero. I dub him the Logophile, lover of words (mostly because I couldn’t find a better one), with a signal thusly:

Who knows where he may strike, what dastardly deeds he shall circumnavigate, what perilous perdition he shall vanquish with a lash of his tongue!

Trying more stuff out. I came into possession of several inking pens by exchanging money for goods, and have been messing around with them. This is the result of one of those purchases. I’m not sure about it yet; more experimentation is needed. (and fun!)
