Whoo, this one took a lot out of me. Nothing like deciding to make a double-tall strip Saturday night when your strip goes up Monday. Still, I’m super proud of it and glad I reworked my story.
Again, the Boiga Bruddas are real only in the sense that Kris Straub made them so. No longer must they languish in putrid landfills across the Southwest; now they can make my character rich! (used with permission)
For those that don’t understand the conclusion, I refer you to this comic by Kris Straub. Read the post underneath for some delicious backstory.
Delicious…boigas…great, now I’m hungry.

As many of you have heard, I’ve quit my regular day job. I won’t go into reasons why except to say concentrating on the strip was one of them. There will be no interruption of your regularly scheduled comics (get me, I sound like the CTA), but I’ll have to revise my schedule as appropriate. Wighthouse will be the better for it. Que sera sera…*spins off into the clover, arms outstretched*
Imagine my surprise when I found out this wasn’t actually a thing. Of course, the real life alternative is waiting until Uncle Rich’s will goes into probate…but I’m saving that storyline for my Law & Order webcomic.
By the by, you may notice the Wachter clan passing a movie theater in panel one. I got to thinking, the funeral is in an unspecified Chicago suburb, Multiplex 10 is in an unspecified Chicago suburb…so, wave hi to the Multiplex gang!
